A Carbon County man is headed to state prison after admitting in Schuylkill County court that he broke into a Coaldale residence in January.
According to the Republican Herald, 42 year old John S. Murphy, of Lansford, was charged by Coaldale police with breaking into 25 W. Lee St. on Jan. 27.
Murphy pleaded guilty to burglary in one case, theft in a second and possession of drug paraphernalia in a third.
President Judge William E. Baldwin ruled he must now spend 2 1/2 to six years in a state correctional institution.
