Three people were injured Wednesday morning in a crash in Mahanoy Township.
According to Sckook News, emergency personnel were called around 10:45am, to the Intersection of Route 54 and Upper Main Street in Mahanoy Township for a two vehicle accident with injuries.
State Police at Frackville said the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 29 year old Nichole Baer, of Tamaqua pulled out from the stop sign at Route 54 and Route 4030 intersection into the path of 35 year old Eva-Marie Jones, of Mahanoy City.
Jones' vehicle struck the front of Baer's and both came to a stop against the guard rail. Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage. Baer, her passenger and Jones all suffered injuries in the crash and were taken to the hospital.
Baer received several citations including driving with a suspended license.
