A Pottsville man charged with a robbery and assault in the city earlier this year had charges against him dismissed Monday after three victims refused to testify against him.
According to the Republican Herald, 23 year old Shawnelle Alexander Young was originally charged in connection with the incident at 406 W. Market St. on Aug. 27.
With no victims willing to testify, Magisterial District Judge James K. Reiley dismissed all charges against Young, including two charges added right before the hearing — criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief.
