A drug sweep Tuesday morning in the Tower City, Tremont and Pine Grove areas, conducted by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force, municipal, county, state and federal authorities led to the arrests of nine alleged drug dealers, following a several-months-long investigation.
The Republican Herald reports that, in all, warrants were issued for 28 people with an additional two people charged by summons from a local district magistrate.
Nine of the 28 were taken into custody during the roundup were: 27 year old Eric R. Pinkerton, 26 year old Trevor A. Jenkins and 25 year old Kathren M. Adams, all of Tower City. 30 year old Wiley N. Humphrey, of Pine Grove: 42 year old Chad E. Hoy, of Valley View: 27 year old Macy Krepich Barder, of Lykens and 37 year old Lee A. Dubois Sr., of Pine Grove:
The seven were arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David Rossi, Tremont, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison pending straight cash bail. Dubois was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
Also taken into custody were: 26 year old Angela L. Andrewsky, of Mahanoy City and 47 year old Lyle McCulley, of Pottsville.
In addition, authorities said 24 year old Travis John, of Mahanoy City, who is wanted for numerous drug charges is currently incarcerated on unrelated offenses will be arraigned today.
