A Tamaqua man is in custody after admitting to stabbing his wife to death Sunday evening.
According to Skook News, police were called to the 200 Block of Lafayette Street, Tamaqua for a domestic argument just after 7:30pm.
When police arrived, they found 43 year old Diane Bailey lying on the sidewalk outside her home. She was pronounced dead just after 8:30pm.
Bailey's husband, Robert was later found walking in the 300 block of Washington Street with blood on his hands and clothing and admitted he stabbed Diane Bailey after an argument.
Bailey was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge David Plachko early Monday morning and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after being denied bail.
