25 year old Tyler J. Swantek, of Frackville, is headed to state prison for as long as half a century after he admitted Wednesday to a Schuylkill County judge that he murdered his father in the spring of 2017 and left his body in the Frackville home they shared.
According to the Republican Herald, Frackville police had charged Tyler Swantek with shooting Todd Swantek between March 23, 2017, and May 24, 2017, in their 443 N. Third St. residence.
Judge Jacqueline L. Russell accepted the plea and sentenced him to serve 25 to 50 years in a state correctional institution.
