A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday evening near Pine Grove.
According to Skook News, State Police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident took place around 6:30pm near the intersection of Shultz Road and Tremont Road in Pine Grove Township.
The victim, identified as 84 year old Alice Donmoyer, of Pine Grove Township, was reportedly crossing Tremont Road when she was struck by a vehicle driven by 27 year old Dustin Minnich, also of Pine Grove Township.
Donmoyer was pronounced dead at the scene by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Joe Pothering.
The incident is still under investigation.
