A Jim Thorpe man is facing charges after allegedly raping a teen at his home.
According to Skook News, Jim Thorpe Police charged 69 year old Thomas L. Gehres Sr. with raping a 19 year old female at his home on the morning of Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Gehres was video arraigned in front of Magistrate William Kissner from Palmerton. A preliminary hearing is scheduled on January 3 in Jim Thorpe.
Gehres has also been charged with a separate offense of Indecent Assault in his home involving the same victim during the summer of 2017.
