Schuylkill County District Attorney Michael O'Pake would like to remind and caution all residents regarding potential acts of Theft and Fraud being perpetrated by individuals against citizens of Schuylkill County.
According to Skook News, reports have been received where individuals are preying on senior citizens, requesting financial assistance for family members who are allegedly in distress.
These reports have been determined to be false and deceptive.
Anyone who believes their information may have been compromised should contact your bank or credit card companies, as well as your local police department or the office of the District Attorney.
