A portion of Interstate 81 was closed and minor injuries were reported when a tractor-trailer crashed Monday, blocking both southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Kline Township.
According to the Republican Herald, the crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. in the area of mile marker 138.7 as the driver was traveling south, when for some reason he went off the right side of the road and struck the guide rails.
The truck then rolled onto its right side blocking both southbound lanes. The driver suffered minor injuries while a passenger in the sleeper portion of the tractor, was not hurt.
The investigation into the crash continues.
