One person suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash that occurred around 10:20 a.m. Christmas moring on Wildcat Road in Walker Township.
State police at Frackville said 18 year old Autumn E. Eberts was driving south when she lost control on the snow-covered highway while rounding a left curve.
The vehicle went off the road and struck a tree coming to a stop in the southbound lane facing north, just south of the point of impact.
Eberts suffered a minor injury and was taken to a Lehighton hospital while her passenger; a 15-year-old boy, was not hurt.
Police said Eberts will be cited for driving on roadways not laned for traffic as result of the crash.
