Frackville fire...

Just after 11:30am, emergency personnel were dispatched to 215 South Center Street, in Frackville, for a working house fire.

According to Skook News, possible entrapment was reported after police were unable to gain entry to the home due to the heavy smoke.

However, it was quickly determined that Al Booble and his wife were not home, but away on vacation.

Firefighters located the source of the fire in the basement of the home and were able to contain the flames to that area of the building.

Authorities say the remaining portion of the home sustained smoke damage.

Frackville Fire Chief William Lindenmuth said that although the fire remains under investigation, it appears to be accidental, originating in a dehumidifier.
