Schuylkill Community Action received donations totaling $30,000 to be used for its Repair Fund Program to repair properties, making them eligible for the SCA weatherization program.
According to the Republican Herald, SCA includes 18 volunteer-operated food pantries which distributed more than 32,000 food boxes last year.
Other programs are heating and electric assistance, community-development initiatives, a financial education coaching program and the weatherization program.
