State Police are investigating the report of a missing/endangered person in Schuylkill County.
According to Skook News, State Police at Schuylkill Haven said 78 year old Richard Messersmith, from Tremont Avenue, in Tower City, left his residence on Monday, February 25 around 12:15pm to go to BB&T Bank in Lykens, Dauphin County. He was last seen at the bank at 12:34pm. As of 3:00pm on February 26, 2019, Messersmith had not returned home.
He was last wearing a black jacket, jeans, sweatshirt, and sneakers. He was operating a 2011 Silver Ford Ranger pick-up with a Plate # WR69923. Police say Messersmith may be in a confused state.
