Pottsville police are looking for the driver that struck a juvenile then left the scene Tuesday afternoon.
According to Skook News, the incident occurred around 2:00pm, when a male juvenile was attempting to cross 16th street, in the city and was struck by a dark colored SUV with tinted windows.
The juvenile told police that the driver slowed the SUV after making contact but then continued south on 16th and left the scene.
He was transported to a local medical facility for treatment.
Police say the SUV may have damage to the passenger side mirror.
