Shenandoah Police have charged a borough man for strangling a woman on Monday.
According to Skook News, police were dispatched for a domestic disturbance at 205 West Centre St Apt. 2, where a female could be heard yelling for help.
Authorities charged 23 year old Matthew Strefan Galarza, of Shenandoah with the assault on his 26 year old, pregnant girlfriend. Galarza was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker.
Galarza was taken to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post bail.
