A long term truck detour was put in place on Monday in McAdoo.
According to Skook News, PennDOT put the truck detour place on Route 309 between Silverbrook Road and Jackson Street in McAdoo as part of an ongoing PA 309 Reconstruction Project.
As part of the project, trucks will be detoured to Interstate 81; Exit 138, to PA 424 at Exit 141 to Route 309 around the construction site.
The detour will remain in place until the end of November 2019.
