A Saint Clair man was jailed Monday, charged by Pottsville police in connection with a burglary around 8 a.m. Friday at 1625 W. Norwegian St.

According to the Republican Herald, Police Chief Richard F. Wojciechowsky said officers were called to the address for a report of a suspicious incident and learned that two men were seen kicking the side door and forcing their way inside.

Police found 25 year old Trent Schaeffer, of Minersville, hiding inside the residence.

Officers also located homeowner Zachery Guy Zerby and Amanda Bebenek who had active arrest warrants. Both were taken into custody with Zerby committed to Schuylkill County Prison and Bebenek taken to Mifflin County Prison.

Another individual involved in the break-in, 28 year old Casey Woolson, was taken into custody Monday, arraigned by Reiley and committed to prison, also unable to post $30,000 bail.
