State police are looking for answers after a deceased female puppy was found, over the weekend, in Foster Township.
According to authorities, the puppy was approximately 10 weeks old and discovered in a tan and green pet carrier at the intersection of Route 901 and Keystone Boulevard.
A veterinarian who examined found her to have the parvovirus, which is a preventable, highly contagious, and fatal virus if not aggressively and immediately treated.
The Hillside SPCA along with the Pennsylvania State Police are asking for anyone with information regarding who abandoned the dog to call a PA State Police Animal Cruelty Liaison at 610-681-1850.
