A Tamaqua man was apprehended by police after he allegedly broke into borough homes Monday morning.
According to authorities, 32 year old Albert M. Shaw was seen taking items out of residences at 412, 414 and 416 E. Cottage Ave., before riding off on his bicycle.
When police located Shaw, he was also found to be in possession of various drugs and drug paraphernalia.
He was arraigned Monday by Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer, Tamaqua, and committed to the Schuylkill County prison, unable to post bail.
