A Pottsville man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop in the city.
Authorities said officers on mobile patrol conducted a vehicle stop in the 1800 block of West Market Street, due to violations of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.
During the investigation, a passenger in the vehicle, 22 year old Timothy Ebert, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana, oxycodone hydrochloride and a prohibited offensive weapon.
Ebert was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Plachko and committed to Schuylkill County Prison.
