Schuylkill County has a new Prothonotary, as Albert L. Gricoski begins his term in the office, today.
According to the Republican Herald, Gricoski succeeds David J. Dutcavich, who resigned with less than a year left in his term.
The Prothonotary’s office is the custodian of court documents in civil cases, including private lawsuits, divorces and child custody matters. It also processes passports.
Gricosk is a candidate in the May 21 Primary Election for the Republican nomination for the position.
