Police arrested two individuals in Tamaqua Monday afternoon on warrants.
According to Skook News, the Tamaqua Police Department along with the Schuylkill Township Police executed a search warrant on 31 North Railroad Street and took 37 year old Tihanne Rasheed Wright into custody on 2 warrants relating to the sale of controlled substances.
Police say officers made 3 controlled buys of controlled substances dating back to December 2017 through 2018.
48 year old Melissa Filer, who was inside the residence at the time, was taken into custody on unrelated warrants.
Police were able to seize controlled substances, currency, and drug paraphernalia during the incident.
