Five homeless in Pottsville Fire...

Five people are displaced following a house fire at 622 N. Second St., Pottsville, early Wednesday morning.

The Republican Herald reports that firefighters were dispatched to the house for a working structure fire around 2 a.m.

According to residents of the building, everyone escaped safely. There are no details yet on what caused the fire.

We will have more details as they become available.

Firefighters were still on scene as of 3 a.m.
