One person was flown after a two-vehicle crash in Washington Township on Tuesday afternoon.
According to state police at Schuylkill Haven, the accident occurred about 4:01 p.m. on Deturksville Road, Route 443, near the intersection of Shoreline Drive, when 28 year old Sarah E. Harring, of Tremont, was driving east on Route 443 and entered the westbound lane colliding with a tractor trailer being driven by 21 year old Shawn M. Nolt, of Bernville.
According to a supervisor at Schuylkill County Communications Center, Pottsville, Harring was flown to Hershey Medical Center for treatment.
