Frackville Borough Police arrested James Robert Brown, of Scranton, on charges related to burglary.
Borough police were dispatched, on April 6th, to the 200 block North Broad Mt. Ave for a breaking and entering in progress.
When police arrived on scene Brown was located in the back yard of a residence and taken into custody.
An investigation revealed that Brown knocked on the front door of a residence and then walked away. Brown then came back to the residence and kicked the basement door in gaining access to the residence. Brown entered the kitchen area of the residence from the basement stairs and was met by the homeowner, who chased him out of the home. Brown then ran to the back yard of the residence where he was met by police.
He was arraigned and was unable to post $25,000 straight cash bail and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison.
Brown will have to answer to the charges before Magisterial District Judge Hale, Frackville.
