A Hazleton couple is accused of abusing four children under the age of 10.
Jamal Anthony Williams and Jennifer Marie Collins face charges of child abuse in what investigators call "A house of horrors." Veteran detectives say this is one of the worst cases of child abuse they have ever seen. One investigator said the children were in a prison and often times tortured as a form of punishment.
Collins is the mother of all four children, Williams is the father of two of them.
Detectives say they were tipped off to the alleged abuse of an anonymous source. The children are now in protective custody.
Williams and Collins will have hearings later this month. Williams is locked up on $100,000 bail.
Collins was released on $35,000 bail but is not to have any contact with her children.
