Owners of the Pearl Theater Stadium 8 have given an update on the future of the theatre after tenants of the Schuylkill Mall were notified, earlier this week, that they have 60-90 days to vacate.
Theater owners, Bruce Taffet and Gina DiSanto, said the Pearl Theater will remain open, showing first run movies throughout the summer and into September.
The theater will also be offering the Free Kiddie Movie Camp Showing a free movie every Wednesday throughout the summer for the community's enjoyment.
The owners also said they are looking in the local area for a larger and more convenient location to relocate.
Dunhams Sports and several other tenants are reported to be looking to relocate but not location has been determined.
