Fire destroyed a motor home in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Republican Herald, firefighters were called to mile marker 129.8 in the northbound lanes and found the Vacationer by Rambler motor home fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters extinguished the flames before they spread to a trailer the vehicle was towing, but the motor home and its contents were destroyed.
No injuries were reported and the fire shut down the northbound lanes for more than an hour while firefighters from Ryan Township and surrounding communities were at the scene.
