A third pig that is believed to have been abandoned, in West Mahanoy Township, was captured, Thursday.
State Troopers received a call, Wednesday morning, for pigs running down the middle of Route 924 near Brandonville.
The Schuylkill County Animal Response Team was called and was able to catch two of the pigs which were found to be female and pregnant.
According to Skook News, the third pig was safely captured by an expert trapper around 9:00am, Thursday.
All three pigs, believed to be abandoned, are now being cared for at the Ruth Steinhart SPCA.
