Schuylkill County prosecutors withdrew seven drug-related charges, Wednesday, against a Lehigh County man who allegedly had a methamphetamine laboratory in May 2016 in his former residence in Schuylkill Haven.
Schuylkill Haven borough police originally filed the charges against 39 year old Sean R. Deibert of Macungie, alleging he had the “one-pot” laboratory in his basement at 96 McKinley St. on May 2, 2016.
Police said that when they went to the neighborhood, they found Deibert confused and disoriented, prompting them to have the man evaluated at an area hospital.
Authorities searched the basement, discovering various materials used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Police said three children had also been living in the residence.
President Judge William E. Baldwin signed an order Wednesday allowing prosecutors to withdraw the charges against Deibert.
