A Shenandoah man wanted on an arrest warrant is facing drug charges after being found with methamphetamine.
According to Skook News, Shenandoah Police observed 29 year old Michael Medina in a vehicle in the 600 block of W Centre St. Police confirmed the existence of an arrest warrant for Medina from Chester County. Medina ran from police and after a brief struggle, was taken into custody.
Medina was found to be in possession of more than 4 ounces of methamphetamaine, with a street value of approximately $10,000.00, along with more than an ounce of marijuana.
He was taken to Schuylkill County Prison and then transferred to Chester County. Charges have been filed with Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker.
Medina will be arraigned on the charges at a later date.
