Emergency personnel responded to brush fires near Shenandoah Thursday afternoon.
Skook News reports that around 1:45pm, fire crews were called to the area along Route 924 near the Windmills in Mahanoy and West Mahanoy Township north of Shenandoah for a large brush fire.
Early reports when crews arrived they found two separate brush fires in the area.
