Schuylkill County voters took to the polls, Tuesday for the primary election. In some of the results, Schuylkill County’s incumbent Republican commissioners won re-nomination.
Incumbent Linda Gallo Marchalk succeeded in winning the Republican nomination for her second term as treasurer. Schuylkill County will have a new prothonotary next year with Republican challenger Bridget McGowan Miller winning in Tuesday’s primary election. Incumbent Maria T. Casey captured the Republican nomination for Clerk of Courts and will now face off against Democrat Ronald R. Pellish in the Nov. 5 General Election.
