Police have identified the man found dead inside his Frackville home last week.
According to the Republican Herald, Frackville Police Chief Richard Bell said Monday that forensic testing was used to positively identify the man as 48 year old Todd Swantek.
Authorities say Swantek was found inside his 443 N. Third St. home on Wednesday. An autopsy revealed he died of a gunshot wound and the manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
Bell said the investigation into the homicide is continuing, adding that authorities believe the killing was not a random act and no danger to the community exists.
