Donors of all blood types are needed now to help ensure a sufficient supply of blood for patients in need during the summer months.
According to an American Red Cross press release, The American Red Cross is asking for donors to help accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, along with those receiving cancer treatments.
Upcoming blood donation opportunities are scheduled in Schuylkill County.
