58 year old Donna M. Zelonis, of MaryD, is headed to Schuylkill County Court after waiving her right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on charges she stole thousands of her employer’s money while she served as the business’ accountant and bookkeeper.
According to the Republican Herald, Schuylkill County detectives alleged that from Jan. 1, 2004, to April 4, 2014, the day she was fired, Zelonis stole as much as $389,434.39 from Tree Equipment Design Inc., in New Ringgold, West Penn Township.
Magisterial District Judge James R. Ferrier, bound over all charges for court and allowed Zelonis to remain free on $10,000 unsecured bail pending further court proceedings.
