Charges headed to court...

A former Pennsylvania state constable working in Carbon County who’s accused of propositioning wanted women for paid sex will have his case heard in a higher court.

According to the Republican Herald, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office said 41 year old George T. Bottomley Jr., of Lansford, who worked primarily in the borough, encouraged seven women from Nov. 30, 2010, through Sept. 26, 2016, to trade him sex in exchange for money they could then use to pay fines or use for him to disregard warrants.

He was arraigned April 18 and his bail was set at 10 percent of $20,000, which he posted that day. Bail was continued during the preliminary hearing Tuesday.
