Fire crews from Tamaqua along with Tamaqua EMS were called to the scene of a crash around 10:30am Tuesday morning, at the border of Tamaqua and Schuylkill Township along Route 209 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
According to authorities, the crash involved a pickup truck that struck a parked flatbed truck owned by Hope's Towing.
Three people were reported to be injured in the crash; one of them was flown to an area hospital.
No names have been released as police are still investigating.
