A startling find brought out the bomb squad in West Penn Township, Schuylkill County, this week.
Emergency crews responded to Quarry Road late Tuesday afternoon when someone found a grenade in the basement of a house.
The grenade was eventually removed from the home.
There's no word on whether the grenade was live.
Authorities say no other explosives were found and were investigating where the grenade came from.
