The Superintendent of SCI-Mahanoy has reported the death of an inmate.
According to Skook News, Superintendent Theresa A. Delbalso said a corrections officer conducting security rounds found 50 year old Arnold Mulholland unresponsive in his cell on June 8 at 6:17 AM. He was transported to the prison’s medical department and later pronounced dead by the coroner at SCI Mahanoy.
Mulholland was serving a life sentence for murder from Philadelphia County. He was committed on May 22, 1990.
The Pennsylvania State Police will conduct an investigation, and the official cause of death will be determined by the county coroner’s office.
