The identity of a woman, who was seriously injured after a crash late Monday, in West Brunswick Township, has been released.
According to Skook News, State Police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred just before 10:00pm at the intersection of the Centre Pike and Penn Street, when 22 year old Jasmine Newby, of Auburn was travelling north, crossed the raised median, slid across the southbound lanes, continued off the roadway, striking a tree with the rear door of the vehicle.
Newby was extricated from the vehicle and flown to Reading Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
Police say Newby was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and numerous controlled substances.
Charges will be filed pending blood test results.
