A woman was taken into custody after she caused a three vehicle crash on Interstate 81 in Frailey Township last Friday.
According to Skook News, State Police at Frackville responded to the crash in the area of Mile Marker 109.
An investigation revealed that 33 year old Sarah McGinley, of Bloomsburg, attempted to pass a freightliner and as she moved into the passing lane, struck the passenger side of another vehicle.
McGinley lost control of the vehicle and struck the trailer of the Freightliner, becoming lodged underneath. While Police were interviewing McGinley, Troopers noticed signs of impairment.
A standardized filed sobriety tests were administered and she was taken into custody.
McGinley also had a 6 and 1 year old in the vehicle with her.
One person was reported to have suffered minor injuries but refused treatment.
