The identity has been released of a Coaldale man who died in a car crash over the weekend.
Lehigh County Coroner’s office said 69 year old Willett Roode died Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest as a result of the crash in Summit Hill.
Authorities say the crash occurred at 4:12 p.m. Friday in the area of 455 East White Bear Drive, Summit Hill.
Roode was the driver of a motor vehicle that struck a tree near Mauch Chunk Lake’s Boat Launch B.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s office and the Summit Hill police department are investigating.
