Lawmakers are required to have a budget by midnight Thursday, however with several days left and lots of negotiations still to go, Pennsylvanians are concerned that there could be another problematic budget delay.
While lawmakers hammer out a budget deal in Harrisburg ahead of a July 1 deadline, there are lingering doubts that the political machine will succeed this year, especially since last year's budget impasse lasted roughly 10 months.
Republicans still control the house and senate and Governor Tom Wolf is once again in a position to veto any budget bills he doesn't like.
