Schuylkill County residents have more places to donate to the annual Stuff the Bus Campaign by Schuylkill United Way.
According to the Republican Herald, there are now forty sites where people can drop off school supplies for children in need.
Students who receive services from the Schuylkill United Way partner agencies are eligible to receive a backpack with supplies while some school districts in the county will also give away backpacks from the effort.
Those who are not receiving services through any of the agencies, but are still in need, may contact the Pottsville Salvation Army to be placed on a waiting list.
An estimated 1,700 backpacks filled with supplies will be given to children, which is 10 percent of the students enrolled in school.
