A Philadelphia man received an additional state prison sentence after admitting Thursday in Schuylkill County Court that he set fire to his cell in April 2015.
According to the Republican Herald, 37 year old Shawn L. Burrows pleaded guilty to setting the fire on April 15, 2015, in his cell at State Correctional Institution/Mahanoy.
Judge James P. Goodman accepted Burrows’ plea and immediately sentenced him to serve seven to 14 years in a state correctional institution.
Goodman made the sentence concurrent with the one Burrows already is serving.
