Some water customers in Pottsville may not have any water for a certain time period this weekend due to work on a water main by the Schuylkill County Municipal Authority.
According to the Republican Herald, the authority is performing a necessary repair on a water main in the city starting at 10 p.m. Friday.
Some customers residing on or between Laurel Boulevard and Mahantongo Street from Third Street to 15th Street may experience a loss of water.
Upon completion of the repair, a boil water advisory will be in effect for customers that experience a complete loss of water.
Service is expected to resume mid-afternoon Saturday.
In preparation, residents may want to buy bottled water or fill containers for use during the water outage.
