The Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office is warning county residents about a telephone scam.
According to Skook News, during the scam, residents are being told they have missed a court date and are being asked for money to pay fines for failing to appear.
Authorities say residents are being asked to pay via credit card or by wiring money.
The Sheriff's office says if you have any questions in regards to a court date or warrant you can call (570) 628-1440.
