A man was taken into custody early Thursday morning after he threatened to shoot police.
According to Skook News, State Police said the incident began when 69 year old Chris Loftus, of Schuylkill Haven made threats to a 69 year old female victim at a home in North Manheim Township.
Loftus refused to leave the residence and sat on a chair on the front porch with a shotgun waiting for police to arrive.
An arrest warrant was obtained for the Terrorist Threats and a State Police SERT Team arrived on scene, made entry and took Loftus into custody.
Numerous firearms were located in the residence during the execution of the search warrant including a loaded shotgun.
